I have a friend who is really affecting me in a negative way right now. She has been going though a bad time in the past year. things are better for her. I've tried reaching out to her a # of times all of which were completly ignored. It hurts me i don't know what i did wrong. every time i try to talk to her about how i feel she brushes it off makes me feel like a baby how it's all about me. our friendhip now is filled with alot of animosity. how do you move on from this? Not everybody who says this is waiting for you to take the fat bait. I'm thin, and women do this around thin women, too. When this happened a couple of times in the last year, I just stood agape, because the two women who did this did have enough fat between them to fry an egg. Some women really loathe their bodies no matter how thin they are. Sometimes, weirdly enough, thin women do this to create what they think is some sort of "solidarity" with fat women. It's dumb, self-and-mutually-hating and pointless, but it's their effort. I give people the benefit of a doubt.
