Ok so I  am not really wearing this today, but I do plan to wear it just like this on Valentine’s Day when I go out with my love Nightrider. This is the second year in a row my wonderfully fabulous friends at IGIGI have hooked me up with a beautiful dress for my Valentine’s Day plans and I could not be more pleased with this years selection. They have some insanely beautiful pieces in their Valentine’s Collection made with the curvy curves in mind and even though there were so many options to choose from I knew I had to get my hands on this sparkly number!

You all know me, I can’t resist adding some sparkle to my wardrobe so the Margaux Dress from IGIGI was an obvious choice for me for my romantic date night! I was instantly drawn to not only the all over sequins but also the open boat neckline (perfect for my short hair, or for girls who want to wear their hair up) cold shoulder dolman sleeves, and ofcourse the slouchy silhouette. I loved the idea of taking something as dramatic and special as full sequin dress and rocking it out a bit with it’s slouchy style and it was a perfect compliment to my personal style with this dress. The side knot is fabulous and the comfortable jersey lining made this dress ideal for my evening and for the way I love my clothes to be. The quality is top-knotch on this dress, I wouldn’t expect anything less from IGIGI, and everything from the cut to the materials used and the overall look has been selected with love and with curves in mind, it couldn’t be better! I recieved my Margaux Dress in a size 18/20 as the sizing guide on this dress told me to order by the size of my bust which is only 46 inches these days, and it is a fantastic fit! I feel like this dress hugs me in the right places, plays up some of my best assets and is also slouchy in appropriate areas keeping to the style I was after. I honestly feel like a million bucks in this dress and know that I will truly have a night to remember in this piece.  Thanks again IGIGI for hooking me up and for making me feel like the bell of my own personal sparkly ball, you rock as always!

It’s Thursday again and that means its time for another school appropriate/lab appropriate casual Thursday outfit. Being back in school has been rough on my immune system as everyone seems to be walking around with some virus or another and i’m not feeling my best and to add the weather into the mix all I want to do is be warm and cozy and comfortable in pieces I love and that’s what today’s look is all about for me.
